Jacksonville-based Editech Staffing Lands Several Commercial Contracts
Editech Staffing is a well-established provider of clerical, technical, and professional talent to businesses and government agencies across the country. The Chief Executive Officer, Marcie Niedbalski, brings a wealth of industry experience supporting both large and small organizations. Some of the industries supported by the team at Editech include publishing, information technology, business management, accounting, clerical, engineering, and security, to name a few.
With a focus on growing the company, Marcie recognized the tremendous need government agencies and prime contractors have for temporary and permanent staffing services. Through the Florida APEX at UNF Government Contracting Services, Marcie, along with other members of the Editech team, met with Don Zavesky, a Procurement Specialist, to discuss the goals of the business and explore the potential sales opportunities in the government marketplace.
One of the key government market areas Marcie has targeted is contract opportunities through the General Services Administration (GSA). Having received certification as a GSA Schedule Vendor, Editech was ready to leverage this market. Working as a team, Don and Marcie developed a marketing strategy that specifically identified government agencies, prime contractors, teaming partners, geographic areas, and, most importantly, decision-makers who need staffing support services. This information has provided a clear focus for Editech’s business development efforts through the GSA Schedules program.
Recently, the company enrolled in the Florida APEX Bid Match service. This is a no-cost service, offered to select clients. It identifies and delivers federal, state, local, and worldwide government contracting opportunities relevant to the company’s market area. Every day, through email alerts, the business development staff at Editech receive potential government contracting opportunities, specifically researched for their business. Before submitting proposals, they have the ability to review each opportunity, make go/no-go decisions, and prepare Editech’s proposals for government contract awards.
The Florida APEX at UNF is proud to be associated with Marcie Niedbalski and the entire Editech team. Since starting to work with them, the company continues to experience growth and success including pursuing multiple government contracting opportunities and landing several commercial contracts. Editech is a great example of how, as a team, we can make a positive impact in our community—one job at a time.
